Beach Conditions Hidden Hazard At Northside

The beaches have been getting a little pummeled this week. These pop up storms and heavy winds can do a quick facial on any beach surface. The slope to the water is steep on all of the beaches. White Marlin Open Scales Open To A New Leader

The Fish Whistle crew was the first boat to the scales not twenty minutes ago. The brought in a nice looking white marlin. They didn't know how she would hold up to the leader board. White Marlin Open Day 4 At The Scales

Yesterday there wasn't the usual excitement at the scales, not a lot of fish came in and there was only three added to the leader board. A wahoo, dolphin (mahi) , and a tuna. Today there are 102 boats out, according to the White Marlin Open Facebook page. Not much has changed on the leader board. We assume the Catch 23 and crew are out today.
