The Strawberry Rises

Junes full moon is known as the Strawberry Moon by the Algonquin tribes because it corresponded with the harvesting of many fruits including strawberries.  In the month of June strawberries have a small harvesting season.  It is also known as the Rose moon in Europe.

Should be a good weekend to enjoy fishing by the full moon and we will have much warmer weather because this winter in June sucks.
