First Nor’easter Of 2017 Hits Monday
We are going to get walloped with the first nor’easter for the year Monday with gusting winds upwards of 45 mph. The brunt of the storm will be Monday, but the winds will pick up tonight and last into Tuesday afternoon. We have a dense fog advisory tonight, and frankly it is pretty thick right now. Gale warnings are in effect through Monday afternoon. The waves will be huge and fast. It probably goes without saying that we will have to wait and see how the newly replenished beaches are going to hold up. I don’t think I have to mention what I think will happen. The surfers are definitely excited for Tuesday’s swell, Monday will be a bit rough to even try to get in the water. As usual we will keep you updated with everything throughout the day. Make sure you get anything tied down that can blow around.
