Work is scheduled to start June 24 with completion, weather permitting, by July 1. Fish & Wildlife plans to keep the boat ramp open with limited access during this timeframe; however, boaters can expect intermittent closures of about one hour at any time during this period, according to project manager Larry Horan.

Construction work is not scheduled for the weekend, with the Rosedale Beach ramp open continuously from 5 p.m. Friday, June 26, to 8 a.m. Monday, June 29. The parking lot and fishing pier will remain open through the duration of the project.

While construction continues, boaters who regularly use the Rosedale Beach ramp for access to the Indian River Bay may opt to use the Masseys Landing Boat Ramp, located on Long Neck Road in Long Neck, as well as Indian River Marina and Holts Landing.
