TS Henri The Beach Eater Inbound

Big swell storm surge over the weekend from Henri.

The surf anglers aren’t going to like this as much as the surfers. Especially if you are fishing while surfing. Tropical storm Henri is currently down near Bermuda and heading west. We should see the storm surge waves start Friday.
Henri will move up the mid Atlantic, well off the coast, but enough to create some big waves Saturday into Sunday. New England will see some fun weather.

With the lighter offshore winds, the surfers are going to love these crushers. Surf Anglers not so much. I’d try a small Buick to hold bottom by Saturday late afternoon.
Check out Surf Captain to check wave conditions. Beach combing come Monday into Tuesday will be amazing. Expect to see coastal erosion (beech eater) and heavy rip currents.
Also use the DelDOT bridge tower cameras to see the waves live before you head out to surf fish or explore. There are chances of thunderstorms, more so Friday diminishing into Sunday. Keep an eye on Delmarvawx for local conditions.
