Well … it’s raining … again. The seas are angry today, but only a mild rage. Last night’s rain was close to four inches for most of Sussex county. The winds today are not as bad as predicted. High tide is around 2:30 PM for the beaches, after that, around 5 to 6 PM I would check the beaches for treasures. There is a sink hole that opened up on route 9 due to flood waters. Fishing will be a bit rough today and the next couple of days, the water is going to be stirred up. Expect the ocean beaches to clear up the fastest. The back bays (inland) will be chocolate milk for a few days, so will the tidal creeks and rivers. If you decide to go swimming in the ocean watch for rip currents. The Delaware Bay is rocking a good three feet above average for the waves. The ferry looks like a fun ride, aka the Cape May Lewes vomitorium. We might take that ride today just for fun, yes we do that once in a while. Be safe and smart in this wind it’s not bad but you just never know, lot of tree limbs will be hitting the ground, which reminds it is a good day to cut up firewood for the winter. We are looking at a clear day tomorrow with a eleven mile per hour northeast wind
Fish On!
