Last Rehoboth Lifeguard Stand Found in OBX
Not long ago seven life guard stands in Rehoboth Beach were thrown into the ocean. Supposedly as a prank. Several weeks ago we reported that all had been found. However there was some confusion on the number recovered. I never could get a solid answer if all had been found or not. Well today a Rehoboth Beach lifeguard stand washed up on Salvo Beach in the Outerbanks, that is a long trip to float that far.
The stand is in one piece and even still has the sign on it, which is how it was identified. It was found by Matthew Doyle and he posted a picture to a Facebook page in the OBX … ” Pulled this out today in salvo OBX all the way from Rehobath beach,DE.” I contacted Mathew .. ” I found it around noon today just setting up my fishing lines me and a few other people grabbed it and brought it on shore”
I guess we can close the books on the last missing Rehoboth Beach lifeguard stand. I could not reach anyone in Rehoboth to see if they would be picking this stand up.
Fish On!!
