Chesapeake Bay Is Having Flood Issues And You Can See It From Space
If you haven’t seen the news online and everywhere else. The Conowingo Dam was opening more and more gates to alleviate flood waters. Endangering the town of Port Deposit. There was a voluntary evacuation for the town and the sediment flow in the water can be seen in satellite pictures.
The Elite series B.A.S.S tournament scheduled for this weekend was cancelled due to extreme water conditions. There is a lot of debris in the water flowing into the Chesapeake Bay. Boaters are being told to take caution and even avoid using the bay for several days until this can clear itself out. There are areas full of floating debris moving around with the currents and tide.
Better to be safe than sorry. This will probably affect the fishing for a few days as well.
Fish On!
