All Beach Crossings Are Open Except

The beaches are narrow at high tide, but drive-able. Be careful of wet soft sand. If it looks questionable don’t drive across it check it first. All of the surf crossings are open except Faithful Steward in Delaware Seashore State park. I would imagine due to water in swales in front of the ramp, that is typically what happens at this location. The waves are still good sized and fast, but you can hold bottom with enough weight I would start with at least five ounces.. Fenwick Island State park is flatter looking than the rest of the parks.

The point has a cut across the beach that fills in at high tide and is rather deep. Be careful and smart when driving on the beach. Expect to see a lot of heavy wave action Monday into Wednesday from Hurricane Maria.
