The Delaware Surf Is Rough Today

The water is rough at the beach today, pushing up pretty far onto the beach. Watch your six if you wade in to fish the surf, debris can knock you off your feet. The picture above is just after low tide at 9 AM.
This is striped bass weather for sure, look for fish in the wide wash.

The beaches that are open are all looking good to surf fish, just be careful of the higher surf at high tide, Little bit of nor’easter like conditions. Water temperatures are in the upper forties. The inland bays are dropping to the upper forties from the lower fifties.
