Route 24 closed below Weis to fix the pipes under the road.

Long Neck:  The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) would like to alert motorists that the removal and replacement of multiple crossroad pipes will impact the following roadway:

7 a.m. on Monday, March 27 until 5 p.m. on Friday, April 7, pending weather
SR 24/John J. Williams Highway between Long Neck Road and Bank Road
Detour Routes: 
SR 24 eastbound: Right on Long Neck Road, left onto Banks Road and return to SR 24.
SR 24 westbound:  Left on Banks Road, right onto Long Neck Road and back to SR 24.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
