Most Beaches Are Flooded At High Tide
This morning at 10 AM the beaches in Cape Henlopen State Park were covered in water and high tide wasn’t until 11 AM. Yesterday Cape parks staff closed the point and naval crossing for high tide. The Hurricane creating this storm surge during these higher than normal tides should calm down a lot by Saturday. The marine forecast keeps changing for the better.
The water is reaching the dunes in some areas and naval crossing beach is flooded completely at high tide. On the bright side high tide on Saturday isn’t until 3 PM when War On The Shore is over.
