Frozen Food Fight

These two eagles were having a discussion over the one eagle’s catch. This happened on Millsboro pond in front of about a hundred cobra chickens (Canadian geese). Which seemed pleased they were not the target lunch for the moment.

Once it was decided he wasn’t getting anything. The mature bald eagle bailed. I don’t know if this was an angry female or a male juvenile, but it wasn’t having anything to do with sharing a meal.

The sun was making the eagles mostly silhouettes. Always fun to watch the eagles at Millsboro pond. Especially when they are feeding in Cupola park on the Indian River. Watched one drop a catfish on route 24 one day while fishing at the park. Almost landed on the hood of a car.
