The boys at DS Custom Tackle and Frets 4 Vets have teamed up to raise money for Frets 4 Vets. “I like what Tom Baker is trying to accomplish with Frets 4 Vets. I wanted to help out, we came up with this raffle to help raise money”. Dave Okonewski Owner of DS Custom Tackle.

Frets 4 Vets founder Tom Baker … “Our goal for this non-profit organization, is to treat PTSD and or depression by focusing the mind and emotional release through guitar instruction and ultimately music. We raise money to pay for veterans to learn music through a series of classes. Proceeds from events and raffles like this help us pay for these classes. All guitars are built by my company and donated to the student at the end of their instruction.”

The Raffle for Frets 4 Vets will run until September 21st.

The Raffle for Frets 4 Vets will run until September 21st.
DS Custom Tackle will use a program to pick a random winner. Purchase tickets a portion of proceeds will be donated to Frets 4 Vets and their efforts helping veterans with PTSD. The winner can pick up their gear at the awards for DSF’s Summer Surf Fishing Slam Series Grand Finale Awards Sunday the 22nd of September, location to be announced. If the winner can not pick up their gear, DS Custom Tackle will make arrangements.

“This is a killer little set up to surf fish for the summer small fish, but can handle the spring gator blues. Anglers use it at the inlet and won’t look totally out of place with a nine foot rod”
