Free Exfoliations, Whale Smells Gnarly, And Watch The Ledge

(Sept 2, 2021) … I went to Cape Henlopen State Park this morning, to let anyone know we canceled the beach clean up until next Tuesday. I had to cancel it early on for tropical storm Ida. Of course it was beautiful this morning, but that wind is hardcore. Glad we canceled, it is difficult to clean and walk a beach in heavy wind. One reason we use five gallon buckets, aside from the single use plastic issue. Getting gift wrapped by a trash bag is not fun in wind.

The whale is buried here and she is rank

Sand was blowing about a foot off the beach, great way to clean the legs off. Exfoliation for free at all Delaware beaches. The fin whale is ripe! Down wind is a little rough on the senses. There is a ledge carved off from wave action pushed by remnants of tropical storm Ida. The water will be dark for a few days due to all the run off up north and flooded waterways.
