DNREC Cancels Annual Beach Grass Planting

2021 Annual Beach Grass Planting Canceled Due to Covid

Dover (February 2, 2020) …
Dear Volunteers,
Usually at this time of year I send an email with registration information for our annual Beach Grass Planting. However, due to the pandemic, we will not be holding the event in the spring.
This year there will be a minimal amount of planting, which will be done by Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control staff. We hope to bring the Beach Grass Planting event back next year.
In the meantime, if you want to be placed on our email list for the 2022 event, please contact us. You may also wish to check out the DNREC volunteer webpage for other possibilities. 

Thank you for your dedication and hard work in years past, and we look forward to seeing you again in the spring of 2022.
