We asked everyone to send in your beach buggy photos and descriptions to share with everyone. If you have a beach buggy you would like share send us an email at admin@delaware-surf-fishing.com. We have been sent some cool rides, this one comes with a neat added feature.
Dennis Dishler’s beach buggy, though just a standard jeep, has a feature that I have always wanted to add to my buggy, an Ambient weather station. Dennis sets this up when he is at the beach nearly every weekend, it is live on the internet. “My plan was for anyone to go online and check “real time” weather conditions (wind speed, direction, temp, humidity, UV and precipitation amount) while I am on the beach”

Dennis … “I just started this last week and seems to be working great. My plan was for anyone to go online and check “real time” weather conditions (wind speed, direction, temp, humidity, UV and precipitation amount), while I am on the beach which will be most weekends. I am a Wilmington resident. My weather data can be found here at Wunderground.”
Dennis … “I will be down for the extra long Labor Day weekend. Be sure to check it out. I usually transmit from Gordons Pond. I was one of those people that just liked sitting on beach, but I am quickly becoming addicted to catching fish! I did have to get a “hotspot” to be able to upload the info. I had so many people on beach ask me about it last weekend. It was nice to meet new people.”
Looking forward to following Dennis’s weather station this weekend. While I am hopefully fishing the point.
Now I need to get one of these Ambient weather stations, what a cool idea. Combine that with a VHF radio, and you can have quite the entertaining day surf fishing.
Fish On!
