Aids to Navigation for Indian River and its tributaries to be placed the 27th

All of the navigational aids (buoys) for the Indian river, bay, Rehoboth bay, Assawoman bay, and their tributaries will be placed stating April 27th. As far as we know there are no issues with any areas for placing navigational aids this season, as there was last year in the back bay areas of the inland bays due to shoaling. Remember to get your boats checked by the coast Guard this year for safety inspections. You can usually find an auxiliary coast guard representative at Masseys Landing on most weekends during the summer months. They also set up at other state boat ramps, and at several events. I will try to get a schedule and list of locations and get that posted soon. We have a list of Delaware boat ramps on the Fishing Locations page. Have a safe and fun summer season boating, fishing, and enjoying our waters, but most of all be safe out there.
Fish On!!
