White Marlin Open Day 4 At The Scales
Yesterday there wasn’t the usual excitement at the scales, not a lot of fish came in and there was only three added to the leader board. A wahoo, dolphin (mahi) , and a tuna. Today there are 102 boats out, according to the White Marlin Open Facebook page. Not much has changed on the leader board. We assume the Catch 23 and crew are out today. Tomorrow for the last day 266 boats are expected to head out.
The scales will open at 4 PM and we will see who brings in what today. Hopefully the pop up storms will give us a break today the last few days have been a little crazy with heavy to severe thunderstorms. That makes for one hell of a boat ride back to port.
A few local Delaware boys have been making it on the board, We are looking forward to see how well the local crews do overall this year. We have some incredible anglers in this community. Good to see them place on the boards, now lets see them win!
Tune into the scales at 4 PM on the White Marlin Open Web cam. Always cool to see the docks up close and personal. Lately with the weather, I have been high and dry watching it online in the slave cave (workshop).
