Turtle Washed Up At Cape

This morning Jerry Blakeslee found a sea turtle washed up on the beach just below Naval Jetty in Cape Henlopen State Park. MERR has been alerted as well as the park rangers.

I don’t think they have to worry about a crowded beach today this wind and cooler fog will keep people off the beach. Fishing should be decent with a heavy surf. Today will be way better than tomorrow. If you find any stranded marine mamals contact MERR.
