The Antares Launch Saturday’s Viewing Map
You can see the Antares launch rather far away you just need to know where to look, and more importantly when. If you are watching the launch on NASA TV keep in mind there is a bit of delay of the broadcast. If you are close make sure you are looking in the right direction when you see the launch on NASA TV, it will be a couple seconds ahead of the broadcast. I learned that the hard way one time and almost missed a launch.
NASA …. Loaded with around 8,200 pounds of research, crew supplies, and hardware, Northrop Grumman’s 12th commercial resupply mission for the space station will launch on the company’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft on an Antares rocket from Virginia Space’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility.
