Spring Boating Skills And Seamanship Course
It is very important and required for some to know all aspects of boating safety. If you were born after January 1, 1978 it is mandatory to take a boater’s safety course to operate a vessel on Delaware waters. This includes personal water craft such as Jet Skis. There are several courses offered this year and one of the best is the Spring Boating Skills & Seamanship Course offered at Shorts Marine located in Long Neck Delaware. The seven session course starts on February 22nd at 7 PM until 9 PM. The course costs $35.00 and includes a text book, boaters who have their own book will be charged $15.00 for the course. Upon completion of this course boaters will be given a certificate from the USCG Auxiliary and a Delaware Safe boating ID card.
