Power Paraglider Lands At Navy Crossing

Here is something you don’t see everyday, power paragliders landing, buzzing the beach, and fishing pier.

(May 2021) … This past weekend a power paraglider or paramotor landed on Navy Crossing walk on beach, between the jetties. This is a type of ultralight aviation. A paraglide chute is above and the pilot below has large fan motor on their back. Much like an air boat.
The other power paragliders flew around the beach, then flew off. While their buddy had to hoof his rig off the beach. At least he aired all the way down. Check out the video below.

In the first few seconds you see one power paraglider land. While the other two power paragliders circle the area, probably trying to decide whether to land or continue on their way. While checking on their buddy. They opted to continue on their adventure.
