Little Nautical Out There Tonight

Rehoboth beach and all beaches right now, look like high tide at low tide. The Northeast blow will continue into tomorrow then switch to north. Flooding from rain will be the main issue for low lying communities and road. Watch out for ponding water on roads, hydroplaning is an issue. Trees have taken out a few power lines as well as cars running off the road into poles.

Just your typical nor’easter conditions. I wouldn’t worry too much about flooding from tides, just rain accumulation. We fished the surf today at the point and caught a few fish until the porpoises showed up and scared off the fish. Conditions will be much better on Tuesday and the rest of the week. Tomorrow will still be nautical. Beach combing will be great this week, and so will the surf fishing.
