Keep An Eye On The Sky Today

We are going to see some pop up storms today like yesterday early this afternoon. Keep an eye on the sky and your radar. Pop ups move fast and come out of nowhere most of the time.

From the NWS …. Today Isolated showers between noon and 1pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

If you are on the beach you can sit in the panic line to get off the beach or sit in the vehicle and wait it out. Reel in your lines but leave the rod in the holder or sand spike.

Boaters either get off the water before the storm hits, or ride it out. The boat ramps go full circus when the storms pop up suddenly. You can get some killer rainbow shots if you are in the right spot.
