How To Use The Automated Delaware State Park Pass Machines

Delaware State Parks will start charging entrance fees Friday May 8, 2020. There will not be people in the gate booths. Instead visitors without annual passes will have to use the automated kiosks that replaced the “Iron Rangers”.
These are credit card machines to purchase passes, replacing the old envelope system and iron ranger box.

Delaware State parks has to bring in 65% of its own funds. As of today the parks has lost over a million dollars in campground and entry fees. Due to closures and limited access. Amenities like bathrooms are still closed in all of the Delaware State Parks.
