Happy Father’s Day weekend from DSF

storm cloud in sussex county, Indian River Inlet, IRI, DSF, delaware surf fishing
Shot by Captain Chris Ragni at Indian River Inlet

The storms have really stirred up the water out there, the temperature at Massey’s Landing was 69-70 degrees yesterday.  Croaker, kings, puffers, and spot in the surf (65 degrees) on sand fleas (live), bloodworms and fishbites or squid.  Trout are heavy at Henlopen pier, Broadkill Beach, and Beach Plum Island use squid, bloodworms, or chicken.  Blues and shad at the Indian River Inlet on bucktails and spoons as well as a few blues in the surf on mullet.  Flounder are all over the place, minnows and gulp have been the best.  Blue crabs are more prevalent in the back bays and creeks.  I have been very busy working on the site, and a few other things.  Bob’s Marine Boat show is tomorrow and was today.  Great time with very nice people, you should come over tomorrow and check it out.  Located in Clarksville, Delaware at 31888 Roxana Rd, Rts. 17 & 26.  I have a few hoodies, t shirts, beer glasses and some extra license plates.  Starts tomorrow about 9 a.m. they have some nice boats there, and the Admiral Loco from the Black Pearl Designated Driver service is on display.  Great food is available as well, by chef Bob.  We had a freaky storm front move through the area tonight, the pictures being sent to me are wild.  I was busy working on other things, and out of the area at the time.  The MOD fundraiser is tomorrow at the Hawk Watch pavilion in Cape Henlopen State Park, drop by and help out the Reel Friends Surf Fishing club.  Sorry this is such a short report, been a long few days, have been dealing with a few small minded people, and that tends to suck the humor right out of the day.  Have a great weekend and Happy Father’s day!!
