First Annual Delaware Jet Ski Fishing Tournament

On June 18th we will be hosting the first annual Delaware Jet Ski Fishing Tournament at Holts Landing State Park.  All monies raised will benefit the Children’s Beach House.   Ever since we started talking about jet ski fishing, Rob Jones, Rob Wolhar, and I wanted to do a jet ski fishing tournament.  We wanted one that anyone could participate in since may people are just learning to fish from their jet skis.  The tournament will start at 7 AM and last until 3 PM and  anyone can participate.  Preregistration is preferred at $25 per person, and that link will be active next week, late registration is $30.  This is going to be held in the Indian River and Rehoboth Bays only, we are not allowing anyone to go out past the bridge.  We will have weigh stations set up to measure catches and we have a way for skiers to do their own measuring.  The tournament will be online for people to keep up with contestants.  Holts landing has a great little fishing pier if you want to come down and watch.  We will have raffles and a 50/50 during the tournament.  We are still working on a food vendor.  Sponsorship for this event are available through Children’s Beach House.  We will have a full list of sponsors, and more details next week.  We just wanted to let everyone know to save the date June 18th, because this is going to be a blast.
