Fall Fishing Is On With CD Outdoors
Guided kayak fishing tours are a great way to get out and learn the water With Captain Chris Dollar
CD Outdoors (Sept 15, 2020) … What a long, strange trip 2020 has been so far. No doubt it has been a very challenging year so far, which is why it’s more important than ever to get on the water and decompress. On the bright side Chesapeake and coastal fishing has been outstanding, and is likely to only get better as the weather gets cooler. For my money the best time to fish the Bay is September thru October. Here’s a rundown of what I’m offering through the fall.
Guiding Fishing: To beat the crowds, I’m offering guided fishing trips Tuesdays thru Thursdays, either on the 24-foot console or on kayaks [Max three anglers.] We’ll target rockfish (stripers), bluefish, perhaps even some puppy (red) drum on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Trips to upper Tangier Sound, snakeheads in marshes and Mothership kayak trips are also available. Book now and save $50 off a boat trip (full day only), and $25 off a kayak trip. Did you get a new boat and would like to hone your boating skills? Recently, I was certified as a National Safe Boating Council Instructor and can help you become a better boater. Email for details.
Tackle Cove Online & Retail Shop: Looking for top-shelf fishing tackle and Native Watercraft fishing kayaks? We have both. Browse online at Tacklecove.com or stop into our retail location, open Tuesdays-Saturdays, at 101 Water Way at The Wharf, Centreville MD 21617.
Weather permitting, we’ll rent kayaks from our Tackle Cove location on the Corsica River through October. Please make reservations 24 hours in advance for on-site. Delivery requires 48 hours notice.
