Delaware Surf Fishing Drive On Beaches Are Nearly Full
If You Haven’t Left The House To Go Surf Fishing Don’t Bother
The early bird catches the worm and in the surf fishing world on a holiday weekend that has never been truer. Since 7 AM this morning vehicles have been filling the drive on beaches. I have friends everywhere telling me they are nearly full and from what you can see on the Deldot cams alone, the drive beaches are almost full in DSSP.
Some people might even have to leave since they are parking between people who are distancing the required 20 feet. I would not want to be a ranger today. People are taking pictures to prove they were there first. A logistical nightmare to say the least. Be nice to these people they have a very hard job right now.
Check the deldot traffic cams to see DSSP. There are four cameras in that area you can access on the DELDOT app. Use either your phone or computer, if you screen shoot the cameras on your phone you can blow up the picture to see details. The interactive map is easier to use on your phone as well.
Get to the beaches early or go later this evening when they clear out which is usually par for the course. We are in different times so there is no telling how well that will happen tonight. You can stay out all night so long as you are actively fishing. Night surf fishing is a lot of fun!
It is a pool day for this guy, and some relaxation in the country away form the crazy.
Stay safe out there.
