Delaware Selfie King Ups His Game

On Memorial Day Delaware’s National Guard headquarters in New Castle was dedicated to the late Major Joseph R. “Beau” Biden. Many people including his family and friends attended this dedication. Everyone spoke of the legacy he left behind, and his father,Vice President Biden thanked the community for the for their support over the years. One of the friends of Beau’s in attendance was Stefan Talabisco. “We meet in hurricane Katrina and became friends we exchanged numbers and then a few years later I deployed to Iraq. When I returned my daughter was like one years old, I got a phone call late at night it was Beau and he asked me to tell him everything about Iraq from start to finish. I spent over two hours on the phone with him. He was a regular guy. I could talk to him about anything he treated me like I was just as equal as him. I mean this guy could have got out of his deployment, but never pulled any strings. That speaks volumes. He never acted like he was above me or special. Always talked on my level and made me feel comfortable. Also when his grandmother died I drove his family to and from the Biden house and the church and grave site, working with the secret service.” I had to ask, how did you manage to take a selfie with Vice President Biden? This was the first time I met Vice President Biden, I started to talk to him about serving in hurricane Katrina with Beau, we chatted for a few minutes. He was very approachable, but secret service was very aware of everything going on. So of course I asked him if I could take a selfie with me and my daughter Ruby. Because when you are working on your selfie”game” and you have the opportunity, you go for it,and take one with the Vice President of the United States. Next selfie mile marker is the President. Mike Napier is going to have to step up his game for the selfie wars.”
