Delaware Beach Clean Ups Have resumed

Volunteers gather every week and clean Delaware State Park beaches

We finally got back in the swing of things and cleaned the point beach today. I had to cancel the last few for several reasons. Now that all is better we an get back to cleaning the beaches every week. Today was nice there was hardly any trash on the beaches. Hurricane Dorian Storm surge and wind saw to that.

Beach clean ups are still on Tuesdays every week at 9 AM. We will meet next week at Herring Point and clean to Gordons Pond. Then the following week bounce down to Delaware Seashore State Park and clean Keybox to Faithful Steward.

Beautiful day to wander the beach at the point with a 5 gallon bucket and pick up trash

Shout out to Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant in Rehoboth for feeding the clean up crew each week. Really cool of them to step up and offer to help. The food and beer is amazing, give them a try sometime and thank them for supporting DSF’s beach clean ups.
