SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON
We canceled the beach clean up for today because at 9 AM the beaches are still going to be a little wet. Water has pushed most if not all trash to the dune lines or sucked it back out to sea only to deposit it elsewhere. High tide today was at 6:11 AM and you can see the water is still up in Rehoboth Beach. I am heading to the sand this morning, beach combing this week is going to be interesting for sure.
Waves are a little calmer, but still a heavy swell out of the east. Things should start slowing down later this evening into tomorrow with the wind. Waves will lay down more Thursday, unless we get that storm surge starting up from the south.

Inland bays are still dealing with minor flooding. Probably into tonight’s high tide as well. That will start around 8:30 AM if not sooner this morning. The usual places flooded yesterday. It is nuts when there is much less, wind but the water is still being pushed into the inland bays and stacks up to flood, quietly.
Fish On!
