Tower Road Bathhouse And Parking Lot Closes Today Until Spring

(Oct 11, 2022) … The Tower road bathhouse and parking lot are closed and will reopen in spring. The parking lot is scheduled to reopen before spring and will be announced. That is the bathhouse below Dewey beach with the World War II Firewatch tower in the parking lot. Which is being renovated and will also open in the spring. The stairs and top observation area is almost complete. Volunteers said they are just finishing up some cosmetic details.

The parking lots is being repaved and configured. It will reopen before the bathhouse after it has been completed. The Tower road bathhouse will remain closed until spring. Use the Indian River inlet southside bathhouse or Fenwick island park bathhouse. These are supposed to remain open for winter use. Pro tip the bathrooms in the campgrounds at the inlet are always open.
