Russian Spy Ship Off Delaware Coast

Okay, everyone keeps asking me where this Russian spy ship is off our coast.  Since Delaware is such a small coastline, I doubt it is really off our coast anymore at this point, but earlier this morning it was out there … about seventy miles out there.  I don’t know what they are doing, but I doubt they are fishing or headed to the outlets.  So everyone just calm down.  I am sure our military folks are doing a fine job of keeping tabs.  DNREC needs one of these for poachers.

According to Fox news and reports online .. “The Russian spy ship was 70 miles off the coast of Delaware, heading north at 10 knots, according to one official. It was not immediately clear where the Russian spy ship is headed.  That location means the ship is in international waters. The U.S. territory line is 12 nautical miles.  The ship, the SSV-175 Viktor Leonov, last sailed near the U.S. in April 2015, an official said. The ship is capable of intercepting communications or signals, known as SIGINT, as well as measuring U.S. Navy sonar capability, a separate official said.  The Russian spy ship is also armed with surface-to-air missiles.  “It’s not a huge concern, but we are keeping our eyes on it,” one official said …   read the rest of the story here …
