Delaware State Parks Update Drive On Access Warning Signs AT All State Park Beaches

Delaware State parks recently put up some new signs and hopefully these will help with cars driving onto the beach.   Cape Henlopen state park entrances all have these signs now and there are two on each side.  If you miss these you are blind.   Hopefully these will be more noticeable than the older brown information signs.  The fines are even listed on the sign.

We have been saying for years the best thing would be bright red signs to warn people the area is a drive on access only. Coincidentally after installing the Herring point signs a car got stuck on the beach about six hours later. People also need to learn to read signs, but is another issue in and of itself.
