Delaware State Park Surf Fishing Tags Go On Sale On …

At the Delaware Advisory Council On Tidal Finfisheries meeting tonight. DNREC announced that there will be a press release going out at some point.
Surf fishing tags will start going on sale or issued on February 1, 2022.
The usual sale mechanisms will be in place for issuing tags; online and offices or vendors.. However covid restrictions will possibly close some offices or vendors. Currently Dover will not be issuing surf tags in the main DNREC office.
I would check the website for parks to announce when and how Delaware State Parks Annual passes and Surf Fishing permit sales
I highly recommend getting your surf fishing tags online. I HIGHLY recommend buying a two year tag to avoid the yearly insanity of limited tags.

UPDATE …. Here is the press release so we can stop fielding twenty messages/posts on all the social media pages a day, asking when tags are going on sale. When that press release is published we will put it out as well. No more fights at Starbucks.
