Stocked trout grown on fish farms and then stocked in local waterways around the world. This is why Delaware charges for a trout stamp, to pay for the trout stocking program. Despite these being fish grown on a fish farm. There is a Delaware consumption advisory for stocked trout as well as just about every other fish in our waters. I imagine the stocked trout warning is due to the conditions of the waterways stocked.
