Description: In coordination with various federal, state and local agencies, the Coast Guard will be conducting on-water training exercises from 17-21 October 2016. Training exercises will involve specialized teams and tactics using both small vessels and aircraft. Exercises will NOT involve live fire ammunition. Law enforcement activity and platforms not normally seen operating in this area may be observed. Agency personnel will be operating in the vicinity of Roosevelt Inlet and areas of the lower Delaware Bay and offshore during the week. Vessels from NJ and DE State Police will be participating on Tuesday 18 October in Delaware Bay. The Coast Guard will make safety broadcasts on marine VHF channel 16 while on-water exercises are in progress and have safety boat(s) on scene. Recreation and commercial vessel traffic will not be impacted
