13 Annual Horseshoe Crab and Shorebird Festival

The thirteenth annual Horseshoe Crab festival is in Milton, DE.  This year the event is on Saturday, May 28 at 10 AM – 4 PM in Milton Memorial Park.  The Milton Chamber of Commerce is looking for a few volunteers with pontoon boats to give tours of the Broadkill River from 9 AM to 3 PM.  If you are interested in volunteering please contact the Milton Chamber of Commerce for details about times and compensation at (302) 684-1101 .

There will be many local vendors at the event for crafts and food.  You will also be able to tour the Broadkill River on kayaks and SUPS.

The focus of this festival is on our natural bounty and wildlife, the resources found in our area and the hope of awakening and strengthening our appreciation of our environment. The Festival offers many choices from art to science and nature education to family festival fun. ”
