Another End To Another Day That Feels Like Another Saturday, Oh Wait
Anyone else lose total track of days yet? Is everyday a Saturday? I know for some it is not, I appreciate all who are working so hard through this intense situation. I can not imagine the stress for some of my friends in the medical field. We talk on occasion, they have a strength that none can imagine.
The rest of us are stuck at home, in state or out of state, doesn’t matter. Down here while we can get out and about to work, we can also fish.
Today was some rough surf, glad for all that Helly Hansen gear. We will see what tomorrow brings. In the meantime I took on a huge project. It has been like a trip down memory lane. In June this website will be ten years old. It has been a journey to say the least.
I have a metric ton of pictures and video from the past ten years stored on cards, hard drives, flash drives, and four computers. These are all pictures I took with a half a dozen cameras and phones. It has been interesting to say the least to see the quality of cameras increase and my horrible photography skills. You would think after ten years I would understand the benefits of manual settings and shooting in raw. Who has time to edit?
Now, I have to sort everything in files, then go through those files to further sort into smaller categories. What was I thinking!? Is that an Indian River Inlet picture or a sunset, what about the bridge? The categories are getting interesting.
For the past few weeks I have been going through all these storage devices trying to put everything on one, two terabyte hard drive. Apparently I have enough to fill the entire drive. While this is all going on I am going to share a lot of cool pictures taken over the year with everyone. Maybe it will help lift some of the boredom.
If there is anything you would like to see a picture of let me know, I probably have it.
The sunset picture above was taken in 2016. Something about it just calms me.
Stay Safe Everyone
