Wednesday Night It Is Going To Blow

Another storm will hit us Wednesday Night with high winds

Unlike last weekend with the offshore tropical storm surges and winds. We will only have a windy storm Wednesday. Gale force winds, small craft advisories. Possibly some minor coastal flooding. Winds could reach 50 mph gusts with a lot of rain.

I wouldn’t worry too much and we really need the rain. This storm will be short and sweet with a little punch. Don’t worry about route 1 flooding or anything like we just went through. This will be nothing like last week’s storm. Just be mindful of the possibility of flooding. I would be more worried about flying debris, ponding water on roads, and downed trees taking out power lines.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY…

High pressure will be across the Middle Atlantic today and then
move offshore tonight. Low pressure will move across the Great
Lakes region Wednesday while a second low forms near Virginia.
Both of these low will consolidate into a significant storm east
of the area Wednesday night. The storm will move away Thursday as
high pressure begins to build over the area. The high will settle
over the region this weekend. Another storm will arrive for the
