Sharks Devour Dolphin In The Surf

This is why you never get in the water near a dead creature

On Thursday at 7 a.m. at Brant Beach on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. Sharks were caught on video eating a dolphin in the surf. Lifeguards cleared the water. The dolphin was seen near shore bleeding. Sharks were circling it and then moved into devour the shark. Marine mammal experts didn’t find any pieces left to try to determine what species of shark, by examining the bites or any teeth left behind. This is nature in action but also a good reminder to not get into the water to help an injured dolphin. That is how you become part of the food chain.
