Delaware Surf Anglers Avoid Driving Navy Crossing.
The drive on access is still closed and for good reason. There isn’t enough beach to drive on and even at low tide you can’t get down the sand “cliff”. Avoid driving to naval crossing from point comfort station even turning around could be an issue. There isn’t enough sand to cross in front of the great dune. If you want a nice place to fish with zero traffic, it is a short walk to set up and surf fish. Parks might have to consider making this a walk on beach and moving the drive on access.
