On November 11th in celebration of veterans day, visitors can tour the Lightship Overfalls in Lewes, Delaware for free.
“Nov 6, 2019 … The Overfalls Foundation is honoring all those who have served their country by hosting an open house with free ship tours on Veterans Day, November 11. The ship will be open from 11 AM until 2 PM with the last tour at 1:30 PM.
All are welcome to learn of The Lightship Overfalls rich maritime history, how a group of dedicated individuals campaigned for the ship to come to Lewes and the tremendous efforts by “The Dirty Hands Gang” to restore the ship to its current state.
