Fly Tying Demonstration Sunday

ants and “stuff”

When summer really gets into swing, and the aquatic hatches start to thin out, terrestrials like ants and hoppers become important forage for trout. Tomorrow (Sunday July 23rd) the Orvis shop in Bethesda Maryland will be hosting me and we’ll be tying flies four a few hours beginning at noon. If you’ve decided it’s too hot to make the run over the bridge just to roast on the sand think about coming out and talking tying!

I’ll be working on a longer piece this weekend so stay tuned for more!
