Final Four, Who Wins?

Growing up, the NCAA Final Four was the best televised event during the Sports Year. Guess what? It still is the most exciting Sports event and will always be that way. You have a bunch of college kids giving everything they have to achieve a single goal. Bring home the hardware and be remembered in Sports History forever. One team has a chance to do what only one other team has done since the NCAA Tournament has started. Win the whole thing while going undefeated for the entire year. Kentucky’s run this year has been nothing short of amazing but will it be enough?
Wisconsin vs Kentucky -5
This game should be for the National Championship because they are the two best teams left in the Tournament. Kentucky enters the game as a five point favorite because nobody believes there is a team that can beat them. Nobody except Wisconsin! Wisconsin has two big weapons while Kentucky is a very well rounded team. For Wisconsin, Frank Kaminsky and Sam Decker provide a one-two punch that has knocked out every team thus far in the Tournament. Personally, I don’t think there is a single college player who can guard Kaminsky and when they do, Sam Decker is wide open to drain buckets all day long. Kentucky on the other hand is a team filled with one and done players who are on stage for NBA scouts. The problem is that they have never faced a team like Wisconsin the entire year. They will be tested for the first time and I believe Wisconsin wins this game by at least three points.

Michigan St. vs Duke -5
Is anyone suprised that Michigan St is back in the Final Four? They play great basketball and seem to gel right before the Final Four every year. Their coach, Tom Izzo, is the main reason for this miracle every year. The only problem is that miracles only happen once or twice per Tournament and this Cinderella is about to see midnight on Saturday night. I give a lot of credit to this scrappy Michigan State team but they are just going to be outclassed by Duke and their triple threat. Tyrus Jones, Justise Winslow and Jahlil Okafor are going to give the Spartans too many problems . Duke can run with the best of them and Michigan State will not be able to keep pace. The two teams played earlier this year with Duke winning 81-71 but now both team are very different. Duke has actually gotten better and Michigan St. still has stretches where they just don’t score. The Spartans can’t afford to let this happen and unless they play a perfect game, I look for the Blue Devils to prevail.
Prediction- Duke Blue Devils
So, who wins the big game on Monday night? My heart is telling me Wisconsin but my brain thinks Duke. Wisconsin is the more experienced team but Duke has the Coach K factor. He just seems to know how to win big games in March. Heck, I could have gotten these predictions wrong and it could be Kentucky winning the big game. All I know is millions of fans will be glued to their televisions. Sports Bars and Restaurants will make a bunch of money by showing these games and by midnight on Monday, a new Champion will be crowned.
