DNREC expedites authorization for repairs or replacement
of docks and piers damaged as a result of Hurricane Sandy
DOVER (Oct. 31, 2012) – DNREC’s Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section will expedite authorizations for the repair or replacement of docks, piers or other previously-existing structures in tidal or non-tidal waters that were damaged as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
Please contact DNREC’s Wetlands and Subaqueous Lands Section and request a Repair Statewide Activity Approval (SAA) Authorization Form by phone at 302-739-9943 or by email through gayle.calder@state.de.us. The opportunity to request an expedited authorization will expire January 31, 2013.
