The Orbital ATK Antares is set to launch on October 16, at 8:03 p.m. EDT from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. This will be the perfect time of night to see a rocket, especially this time of year. The weather will be clear so you should have a great view of the launch. We will also be coming out of a full moon so the sky should still be really lit up. For a bonus, the International Space Station will be visible flying by around 7:30 PM. The Cygnus spacecraft will carry cargo, supplies and experiments to the International Space Station. The weather delayed the launch last week, this will be excellent to view from the beaches in Delaware.
