Water Is Up Higher Than Normal

Gale Warning in effect late tonight into tomorrow night.  We are seeing water farther up on the beaches and high tide is at 8:30 PM. Expect water to wash to the dune lines on most beaches. Be careful driving if you are out there now watch your six.  The swales are already full from rain as it is, so they will fill up and overflow quicker.  New moon tides will not help either.

The drive on beaches are almost flowing the dune lines.  Bethany beach is as well.  We will see more water on the upper beach by high tide.  Inland bay communities will see some extra water in the inland bays.  The east winds will keep pushing water into the back bays and it will stack and stay.  The next two high tides could create some minor typical flooding.

We will keep you updated.
